'Lonely this Christmas' features the work of artists examining notions of solitude and despair; shown during the Christmas Holidays on Lancaster University campus (according to urban myth, the university with the highest suicide rate in England).

Individual pieces are displayed in unused illuminated cinema poster boxes. Snapshots of miserable perseverence situated on an empty university campus, the work becomes as isolated as its limited audience.
